HYROX connects 3 different training methods in an unique concept by combining functional strength training, high-intensity interval training and classic endurance sports. The HYROX training mainly focuses on learning and training of the 8 HYROX-specific exercises as well as their alternatives. The HYROX training is also a perfect opportunity for those who are looking for an intensive workout. The course can also be used simultaneously as preparation for the next HYROX Competition ( e. g. Stuttgart and Karlsruhe, all events at www.hyrox.com).
In the HYROX Competition athletes compete in different performance classes in the same challenge spreaded over the year at different locations in Germany and Austria : 8 x 1000m running in alternation with 8 different fitness exercises. ANYONE can compete! Whether leisure or professional athletes - in the end, everyone reache their personal physical limits.
The 8 Exercises of the HYROX Competition:
- rowing machine
- ski ergometer
- Sled Push (push weight sled)
- Sledpull (pull weight sled)
- Kettlebell Farmer's Walk (carrying kettlebells)
- Sandbag Lunges (lunges with sandbag)
- Burpee Broad Jumps (Burpee + leap forward)
- Wall Balls (Squat + throwing medicine ball)
Registration for the competition may be done separately. The registration fee for the competition is not included in the course fee for the HYROX Training!
