Forró
Forró ist ein Musik- und Paartanzstil, der aus dem Nordosten Brasiliens stammt. Inzwischen hat Forró alle Kontinente der Welt erreicht und auch in Deutschland erfreut er sich immer mehr Beliebtheit. Die erste Forrócommunity in Europa wurde vor rund 15 Jahren in Deutschland gegründet und zurzeit gibt es in fast allen europäischen Mittel- und Großstädten Kurs-, Party- und Festivalangebote. Als Paartanz ist Forró nicht nur leicht zu erlernen, sondern macht vor allem viel Spaß. Er kann langsam oder schnell getanzt werden und lässt in seinen Schrittfolgen viel Raum für Kreativität. Durch seine fließenden Bewegungen und eingängigen Rhythmen zieht Forró jeden schnell in seinen Bann.
Die Kurse finden in einer lockeren Atmosphäre statt, bei der Spaß im Vordergrund steht. Dafür ist ein gutes Portfolio an Figuren ebenso wichtig sowie auch die richtige Technik, diese gut tanzen zu können. Es ist egal, ob ihr euch paarweise anmeldet oder lieber alleine kommen wollt. Beim Unterricht wird es durchgewechselt.

Anfängerkurs
Der Kurs richtet sich an Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer, die noch wenig oder gar keine Erfahrung im Forró gesammelt haben. Keine Vorkenntnisse werden benötigt und Ihr erlernt verschiedene Tanzschritte "step by step". Neben den technischen Fundamenten wird mit Euch viel an der Haltung und Kommunikation beim Tanzen gearbeitet, damit ein angenehmer und fließender Tanz entstehen kann.
Mittelstufe I
Diese Stufe ist die Fortsetzung des Anfängerkurses und Vorkenntnisse in Forró werden vorausgesetzt. Hierbei habt Ihr die Möglichkeit neue Figuren zu lernen und Altes zu wiederholen. Weiterhin werden die Grundlagen und erste Figuren in Forró Roots Stils eingeführt sowie Eure Musikalität und Kreativität beim Tanzen verfeinert.
Mittelstufe II (wird im Sommersemester 2024 nicht angeboten!)
Der Kurs ist die Fortsetzung des Mittelstufe I Kurses. Solide Kenntnisse aller Grundlagen inkl. Grunddrehungen sowie Vorkenntnisse in Forró Roots Stil werden vorausgesetzt. In diesem Kurs liegt der Schwerpunkt auf komplexeren Figuren und einer technisch detaillierten Ausführung.

Forró
Forró is a music and couple dance style that originated in the north-east of Brazil. In the meantime, Forró has reached all continents of the world and is also becoming more and more popular in Germany. The first Forró community in Europe was founded about 15 years ago in Germany and currently there are courses, parties and festivals in almost all European medium-sized and large cities. As a couple's dance, Forró is not only easy to learn, but also a lot of fun. It can be danced slowly or quickly and its step sequences leave a lot of room for creativity. With its flowing movements and catchy rhythms, Forró quickly captivates everyone.
The classes take place in a relaxed atmosphere where fun is the main focus. For this, a good portfolio of figures is just as important as the right technique to be able to dance them well. It doesn't matter whether you sign up in pairs or prefer to come alone. It will be rotated through during the class.

Bring along: Sufficient to drink, dancing shoes or comfortable shoes that are not worn outside, and a good mood!
Beginners' course
This course is for participants who have little or no experience in Forró. No previous knowledge is required and you will learn different dance steps "step by step". In addition to the technical basics, we will work with you a lot on posture and communication while dancing, so that a pleasant and flowing dance can develop.
Intermediate I
This level is a continuation of the beginners' course and requires previous knowledge of Forró. Here you will have the opportunity to learn new figures and repeat old ones. Furthermore, the basics and first figures in Forró Roots style will be introduced and your musicality and creativity in dancing will be refined.
Intermediate II (Intermediate level II (not offered in summer semester 2024!)
This course is the continuation of the Intermediate I course. Solid knowledge of all basics including basic turns as well as previous knowledge in Forró Roots style is required. In this course the focus is on more complex figures and a technically detailed execution.
