Segeltörn in der Dänischen Südsee
Beschreibung: Für diesen Törn benötigt ihr keinerlei Vorkenntnisse. Wir als Skipper und Co-Skipper bringen euch alle Basics bei, welche ihr für diesen Törn benötigt. Lediglich gute Laune und reichlich Entdeckungslust sind wünschenswert. Wenn ihr schon segeln könnt, seid ihr auch herzlich willkommen. Egal ob Spi oder Gennaker, Navigation oder diverse Trimmmöglichkeiten. Unsere Yacht Odysseus hat einiges zu bieten, sodass auch erfahrene Segler auf ihre Kosten kommen.
Ihr träumt von blauem Wasser, schönen Buchten, alten Hafenstädten und sonnigem Wetter unter weißen Segeln? Dann haben wir für euch genau das Richtige: einen Segeltörn auf unserer Hochseeyacht Odysseus in der dänischen Südsee.
Wann und wo?
Am 21.09. starten wir in Flensburg in unser gemeinsames Abenteuer. Bevor es richtig losgehen kann, machen wir uns kurz mit dem Boot vertraut und decken uns mit Essen und Getränke für den Törn ein. Innerhalb der nächsten Tage werden wir uns entlang Flensburger Förde und der vielen kleinen Inseln in der dänischen Südsee hangeln. Welche genaue Route wir wählen, hängt ganz von uns ab, denn wir werden zusammen die Reiseplanung festlegen. Je nach Wind- und Wetterlage kann es sein, dass wir vor Ort die Route anpassen müssen.
Die Yacht
Segeln werden wir auf der der knapp 15 m langen Vereinsyacht Odysseus der Akademischen Seglervereinigung Stuttgart (ASVS). Die Odysseus, auch liebevoll Ody genannt, ist gebaut um auf große Fahrt zu gehen. Sie bestritt bereits mehrere Atlantiküberquerungen und wurde von Vereinsmitgliedern auf verschiedenen Regatten gesegelt.
An Bord gibt es insgesamt 3 Kabinen mit 8 Kojen, in denen wir untergebracht sind. Eine Kabine mit Doppelbett, eine Kabine mit 2 Einzelbetten und eine Kabine mit 2 Doppelstockbetten. Die Kojen werden wir je nach Zusammensetzung der Crew gemeinsam aufteilen. Je nach Crew-Zusammensetzung können wir daher keine gleichgeschlechtliche Unterbringung in den Kabinen garantieren.
Wenn wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs sind, können zwei Bäder mit Toilette und Waschbecken auf der Ody genutzt werden. In den Häfen in denen wir Abends festmachen sind ebenfalls Sanitäranlagen vorhanden.
Auch wenn wir in unserem Verein unsere Yacht jederzeit hegen und pflegen, kann es sein, dass aufgrund der hohen Belastungen immer wieder mal Kleinigkeiten kaputt gehen. Es gehört zum Leben an Bord dazu, dass wir kleine Reparaturen nach Möglichkeit selbst durchführen. Bei einem größeren Schaden oder schlechtem Wetter müssen wir evtl. auch mal einen Tag im Hafen verbringen – aber wir hoffen natürlich, dass Boot und Wetter mitspielen ;)
Ziel der Reise
Ziel dieser Reise ist euch unser Hobby näher zu bringen und euch einen Einblick in den Segelsport zu ermöglichen. Dabei ist besonders wichtig, dass wir an Bord als Gruppe gut zusammenarbeiten. Ob bei den Manövern, dem gemeinsamen kochen, Ankern oder an Land: mit einem Schiff dieser Größe kommen wir nur gemeinsam an unser Ziel. Als Gruppe werden wir auch schauen, was ein gesunder Mix zwischen einem relaxten Segelurlaub und sportlicher Aktivität ist – eure Wünsche werden wir dabei berücksichtigen.

Damit wir uns vor dem Törn etwas kennen lernen und um ein paar grundlegende Themen zu besprechen, werden wir uns 2-3 mal vor dem Törn in Stuttgart treffen. Das erste Treffen wird voraussichtlich im Mai stattfinden.
Die An- und Abreise muss von den Teilnehmern eigenverantwortlich organisiert werden. Die Kosten für die An- und Abreise tragen die Teilnehmer.
Mitzubringen
- Besondere Segelkleidung ist nicht erforderlich. Normale Freizeitkleidung (wind- und wasserdicht) ist ausreichend. Mindestens eine gute Regenjacke empfehlen wir allerdings. Eine detaillierte Packliste werden wir euch bei unserem Treffen mitbringen.
Hinweise
- Die Betreuer behalten sich vor bei Krankheit (auch Seekrankheit) einzelne Teilnehmer auch während des Törns auszuschließen. Dies dient dem Schutz des Teilnehmers.
- Schäden an der Odysseus, anderen Booten und gegenüber Dritten sind versichert - für euch ohne Selbstbeteiligung.
- Wir setzten gute Deutschkenntnisse voraus, da es beim Segel mit einem Boot dieser Größe eine klare Absprache und schnelles Verständnis unter den Crewmitgliedern benötigt.
- Die Mindestteilnehmerzahl beträgt 4
Wichtig
- Eine Auslands-krankenversicherung bzw. persönliche Unfallversicherung, sowie eine Haftpflichtversicherung ist dringend empfohlen.
- Eine in Dänemark gültige Krankenversicherung ist allerdings Pflicht. Dies ist bei den gesetzlichen Krankenversicherungen gegeben.
- Jeder Teilnehmer muss mindestens 20 Minuten frei schwimmen können.
- Die Teilnahme am Segeltörn und damit verbundenen Aktivitäten (z.B. Landausflüge) erfolgt auf eigenes Risiko. Die Teilnehmer verpflichten sich, eigenständig geeignete Sicherheitsmaßnahmen (wie z.B. das Anlegen der Rettungsweste oder des Life-Belts) zu treffen. Den Anweisungen der Betreuer ist an Bord Folge zu leisten. Zu Beginn des Törns erfolgt eine Einweisung in die Yacht und die Sicherheitsausrüstung. Die Haftung des Skippers bleibt davon unberührt.
In den Kursgebühren enthalten: Teilnahme am Törn, Leitung des Programm, Charterung des Bootes; Versicherung
Nicht in den Kursgebühren enthalten: An- und Abreise, sowie Liegegebühren und Verpflegung in dieser Woche sind nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Diese Kosten sind stark von unserer Planung abhängig. Ob wir z.B. mehr essen gehen, selbst kochen, in Buchten oder Häfen liegen. Erfahrungsgemäß rechnen wir mit ca. 200,-€ p.P. für die gemeinsame Bordkasse.

Sailing trip in the Danish South Sea
Prerequisite/s
You can swim for at least 15 minutes.
You are a student.
Description: You do not need any previous knowledge for this trip. As skipper and co-skipper, we will teach you all the basics you need for this trip. All you need is a good mood and a great desire to explore. If you can already sail, you are also very welcome. Whether spinnaker or gennaker, navigation or various trimming options. Our yacht Odysseus has a lot to offer, so that even experienced sailors will get their money's worth.
Are you dreaming of blue water, beautiful bays, old harbor towns and sunny weather under white sails? Then we have just the thing for you: a sailing trip on our ocean-going yacht Odysseus in the Danish South Sea.
When and where?
We start our adventure together in Flensburg on September 21. Before we can really get going, we will familiarize ourselves with the boat and stock up on food and drinks for the trip. Over the next few days, we will sail along the Flensburg Fjord and the many small islands in the Danish South Sea. The exact route we choose depends entirely on us, as we will decide on the itinerary together. Depending on the wind and weather conditions, we may have to adjust the route on the spot.
The yacht
We will be sailing on the almost 15 m long club yacht Odysseus of the Akademische Seglervereinigung Stuttgart (ASVS). The Odysseus, also affectionately known as Ody, is built to go on long voyages. She has already completed several Atlantic crossings and has been sailed by club members in various regattas.
There are a total of 3 cabins with 8 berths on board, in which we are accommodated. One cabin with a double bed, one cabin with 2 single beds and one cabin with 2 double bunk beds. We will share the berths depending on the composition of the crew. Depending on the crew composition, we therefore cannot guarantee same-sex accommodation in the cabins.
If we are underway all day, two bathrooms with toilet and washbasin can be used on the Ody. Sanitary facilities are also available in the harbors where we moor in the evening.
Even if we take care of our yacht at all times in our club, it is possible that small things will break from time to time due to the high loads. It is part of life on board that we carry out small repairs ourselves wherever possible. In the event of major damage or bad weather, we may have to spend a day in the harbor - but of course we hope that the boat and the weather will cooperate ;)
Aim of the trip
The aim of this trip is to bring you closer to our hobby and to give you an insight into the sport of sailing. It is particularly important that we work well together as a group on board. Whether during maneuvers, cooking together, anchoring or ashore: with a ship of this size, we can only reach our destination together. As a group, we will also look at what is a healthy mix between a relaxed sailing vacation and sporting activity - we will take your wishes into account.

We will meet 2-3 times before the trip in Stuttgart so that we can get to know each other a little before the trip and to discuss a few basic topics. The first meeting will probably take place in May.
The arrival and departure must be organized by the participants themselves. The costs for the arrival and departure are borne by the participants.
To bring
- Special sailing clothing is not required. Normal leisure clothing (wind and waterproof) is sufficient. However, we recommend at least one good rain jacket. We will provide you with a detailed packing list at our meeting.
Notes
- The supervisors reserve the right to exclude individual participants during the trip in the event of illness (including seasickness). This is for the protection of the participant.
- Damage to the Odysseus, other boats and third parties is insured - without excess for you.
- We require a good knowledge of German, as sailing with a boat of this size requires clear communication and quick understanding between the crew members.
- The minimum number of participants is 4.
Important
- International health insurance and personal accident insurance as well as liability insurance are strongly recommended.
- However, health insurance valid in Denmark is compulsory. This is provided by the statutory health insurance companies.
- Every participant must be able to swim freely for at least 20 minutes.
- Participation in the sailing trip and associated activities (e.g. shore excursions) is at your own risk. Participants undertake to take appropriate safety measures (e.g. putting on a life jacket or life belt). The instructions of the supervisors must be followed on board. At the beginning of the cruise, the skipper will provide instruction on the yacht and the safety equipment. The skipper's liability remains unaffected.
Included in the course fees: Participation in the cruise, management of the program, charter of the boat; insurance
Not included in the course fees: Arrival and departure, as well as mooring fees and meals during this week are not included in the price. These costs are highly dependent on our planning. For example, whether we go out to eat more, cook for ourselves, stay in bays or harbors. Experience has shown that we expect to spend around €200 per person for the shared on-board fund.
