Was ist Quidditch / Quadball
Quidditch/Quadball ist eine gemischtgeschlechtliche Vollkontakt-Teamsportart. Sie hat ihren Ursprung in den Harry Potter Büchern, hat sich mittlerweile jedoch zu einer eigenen Sportart weiterentwickelt und ist auch unter dem Namen Quadball vertreten.
Spielablauf
Es treten zwei Teams mit je sieben Spieler*innen (drei Chaser*innen, zwei Beater*innen, ein Seeker*in und ein Keeper*in) gegeneinander an und versuchen möglichst viele Punkte zu erzielen, um das Spiel zu gewinnen. Die Aufgabe der Chaser ist es, den Quaffel durch einen der drei Torringe des Gegners, die vom Keeper verteidigt werden, zu werfen und damit 10 Punkte zu erzielen. Die beiden Beater werfen zudem die gegnerischen Spieler*innen mit Bludgern ab und zwingen sie so, Bälle fallen zu lassen und zu ihren eigenen Torringen zurück zu laufen. Ab der 20. Spielminute versucht der Seeker den Snitch zu fangen, was dem Team 30 Punkte bringt.
Zum Kurs
Aufgrund der vielen unterschiedlichen Positionen und Aufgaben ist dieser Kurs für alle geeignet. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich, auch wenn Erfahrungen mit Teamsportarten von Vorteil sind.
Der Kurs ist als Teamtraining gedacht, in dem sich alle in gemeinsamen Übungen verbessern können und anschließend das Gelernte im Spiel umsetzen können. Weiterhin gibt es die Möglichkeit an Spielen gegen andere Teams teilzunehmen.
Wieso Quidditch/Quadball?
Quidditch sorgt durch seine Komplexität aufgrund mehrerer Bälle für viel Chaos und umso mehr Spaß. Außerdem ist besonders die Community dieser Sportart in Deutschland aber auch in Europa und Weltweit für viele einer der wichtigsten Punkte dieser Sportart.

What is Quidditch / Quadball
Quidditch/Quadball is a mixed-gender, full-contact team sport. It originated in the Harry Potter books, but has since evolved into a sport in its own right and is also known as Quadball.
Gameplay
Two teams of seven players (three Chasers, two Beaters, one Seeker and one Keeper) compete against each other and try to score as many points as possible to win the game. The task of the chasers is to throw the quaffle through one of the three goal rings of the opponent, which are defended by the keeper, and thus score 10 points. The two Beaters also throw bludgers at the opposing players, forcing them to drop balls and run back to their own goal rings. From the 20th minute of the game, the Seeker tries to catch the Snitch, which scores 30 points for the team.
About the course
Due to the many different positions and tasks, this course is suitable for everyone. Previous experience is not necessary, although experience with team sports is an advantage. The course is intended as team training in which everyone can improve in joint exercises and then put what they have learned into practice in the game. There is also the opportunity to take part in games against other teams.
Why Quidditch/Quadball?
Due to its complexity, Quidditch creates a lot of chaos and even more fun because of its multiple balls. In addition, the community of this sport in Germany as well as in Europe and worldwide is one of the most important points of this sport for many.
